France to restrict export of reactors after Japan: Francois Fill

Reuters, PARIS, Thu Mar 17, 2011

(Reuters) - France will only sell nuclear reactors to countries with sufficient technical capability and the capacity to handle crises like the Japanese earthquake and tsunami, Prime Minister Francois Fillon said on Thursday.

"We will only export nuclear reactors to countries that have reached a level of development and handling of the technology and who have capacity to cope with crises like the one we are witnessing," Fillon told France 2 television in an interview.
